Melanie T. Twite, MA LCPC
Melanie Twite, MA, LCPC, is a Licensed Counselor in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Texas. She is a registered Supervisor, National Board-Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and Consultant. Melanie completed her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at George Fox University in 2005. Her professional journey includes diverse experiences in community mental health, adjunct professor roles at George Fox and Northwest Nazarene Universities, and Conference Presente. In 2011, she established her private practice, Remedy Counseling, in Meridian, Idaho, where she specializes in treating attachment disruptions, complex trauma, developmental trauma, religious trauma, betrayal trauma, and recovery from toxic relationships.
As a clinician, Melanie is committed to learning and providing cutting-edge brain and body-based modalities to help her clients recover and heal from the effects of traumatic stress. She shares that same dedication as a trainer, encouraging practitioners to deepen their knowledge of trauma and the effects of traumatic stress and enhance their skills and feelings of competence in treating trauma survivors.
